Everything Designed
With Purpose

Every element of this product exists to solve a real problem on real worksites. No unnecessary complexity — just well-engineered safety.

Long Ergonomic Handle

Deploy and retrieve from a fully upright position. The rubber grip eliminates bending, crouching, and placing hands near vehicle wheels — protecting operators all shift long.

High-Visibility Safety Sign

The integrated "Wheel Chock In Place" sign rises above wheel height — a clear, unmistakable status indicator for drivers, dock supervisors, and nearby personnel.

Wheeled Base & Castors

Compact castors allow smooth repositioning across concrete, asphalt, and warehouse floors. The chock travels with operators — no carrying, no shortcuts.

Reversible Handle

Fits to the left or right side of the frame to suit any dock layout or vehicle approach direction. Adapts to your site — not the other way around.

Heavy-Duty Steel Frame

Powder-coated safety yellow steel construction built for daily industrial use. Resistant to impacts, corrosion, and the conditions of demanding outdoor environments.

Wind-Resistant Design

Stable enough for open yards and exposed loading areas. The unit stays upright and the sign stays visible even in adverse outdoor and coastal conditions.

Why It Matters

Real Benefits for
Real Operations

01

Reduces Injury Risk

Repetitive bending to place and retrieve chocks contributes to lower back strain. Upright handle operation eliminates that cumulative hazard entirely.

02

Prevents Accidents

An elevated sign means no driver can claim they missed the chock. It closes the critical communication gap that ground-level chocks leave open.

03

Boosts Compliance

When a safety tool is fast and easy to use, workers use it every time. Removing friction removes the temptation to skip the step.

04

Adapts to Any Site

Reversible handle and mobile base mean one unit suits different dock layouts, vehicle configurations, and operator preferences without modification.

05

Built to Last

Heavy-duty powder-coated steel construction means years of demanding industrial use without replacement. A long-term safety investment.

06

Secure Mounting

The proprietary CWG chock is secured via M10 fasteners to a dedicated bracket — engineered for zero movement between chock and frame during use.

Where It's Used

Built for the
Environments That Demand It

01

Loading & Unloading Docks

Warehouses and distribution centres with constant vehicle turnover. The elevated sign ensures all personnel share a clear, unambiguous chock status.

02

Truck & Trailer Maintenance

Mechanics working under or around vehicles depend on them staying put. The unit provides reliable, visible immobilisation that complements workshop safety protocols.

03

Transport & Logistics Yards

Open yards with multiple vehicles moving simultaneously demand clear visual communication. The yellow frame and sign are highly visible from a distance.

04

Manufacturing & Industrial Sites

Any facility with regular internal vehicle movements — forklifts, delivery trucks, transport — benefits from a standardised, ergonomic chocking system.

Operational Guidelines

Safety Best Practices

Follow these steps every time the chock is deployed to maintain full safety performance.

1

Engage the parking brake first before applying the wheel chock. The chock is a supplementary measure, not a substitute for the vehicle's own brake system.

2

Position on the downhill side of the wheel, firmly against the tyre. On flat surfaces, chock the drive wheels for maximum holding force.

3

Confirm the sign is visible to drivers and all surrounding personnel after deployment. Never allow the sign to be obscured by other equipment or the vehicle itself.

4

Inspect regularly — check the chock, frame, fasteners, and castors for wear, corrosion, or damage before each use. Replace any compromised component immediately.

⚠️

Compatibility Notice: Replacement chocks must be the proprietary CWG wheel chock. Third-party chocks are not compatible with the mounting bracket and may fail under load. Always source replacements through Sands Industries.
